I enjoyed returning to my former workplace but also being challenged with new tasks and responsibilities as a trainee solicitor. I drafted letters of advice to clients, Deeds of Family Arrangement, Wills, leases and letters to other parties.

Choice of Blended or 100% Online Leo Cussen’s Full Time Practical Legal Training is a 24-week course, comprising: 21 weeks of coursework (approximately 25 hours per week) and; 3 weeks’ professional placement (4 weeks in WA). Professional placements may be at private law firms, community legal centres, government agencies, public interest organisations or in-house. The second option is to arrange the placement yourself, which requires you to complete a Placement Arrangement Form which gets approved by Leo Cussen. Trainees who undertake the online PLT course are required to organise their own placement, but have access to plenty of help and guidance from Leo Cussen’s placement advisor.
